A {Sleepy} Virtual Coffee

Good morning everyone.

I wish I could have slept in this morning. Heck I wish I could have slept in all weekend, but unfortunately a little baby contracted ANOTHER ear infection on Saturday and couldn't sleep the past couple of nights. Even though B2 took the brunt of the wake-up calls, I'm still wiped.

So let's make it a double and you can join me for a cup o' caffeine.

If we were actually doing coffee I'd opt to go to a cute, charming coffee house because my house is a pig sty, even though I "cleaned" this weekend. I've decided to hire a housekeeper again. Third time is a charm right? (yes, there's a story there...stay tuned) Does anyone else have a housekeeper? I know it sounds extravagant, but I'm tired of cleaning the house on the weekends instead of spending quality time with the boys.

Even though I didn't have time to clean a toilet this weekend I did put together E's play table from the Land of Nod. Yep, it's already here! Talk about FAST. It was a snap to put together, just screw in the legs and done. E LOVES it and we have foiled the toy napper (aka G).

On a different note, Amy's blog the other day cracked me up and hit a familiar note with me. I too am already sick of myself and have only been REALLY blogging for a couple of months. Blah, blah, blah...Although I am going to contradict myself right now and bitch about how no one linked up to my Sound Bytes of the Month post last Friday. Not that it's that big of deal, but sometimes I just need to feel the love once in a while. I know people are reading (I check my stats), but I must not say anything cool enough to incite comments...oh well at least I know my mom will post something.

Bleck, on to lighter topics. Did you all watch the Oscars on Sunday night? Supposedly, everyone is ripping on James Franco and Anne Hathaway's hosting abilities. What do you think? I thought they did fine and I think Anne is funny, but James always looks like a walking corpse to me or a drug addict. That's just my opinion. I haven't seen many of those movies yet (two small kids = not much movie going). But I'm dying to see Black Swan. Have you seen it yet? We did watch the Social Network the other night and ironically I watched it while cruising Facebook (yes, I am a nerd). One of these years I'm going to throw one of those Oscar parties where we have cool food and vote on the movies and have themed cocktails. Oh, dare to dream...and only if I have a clean house (yeah it will be a while).
