A Red, White and Blue Sound Bites of the Week

Happy Friday!

It's the beginning of the holiday weekend and our house is buzzing with activity. Packing, packing and yes more packing. It amazes me how two little people require everything, but the kitchen sink anytime we travel more than an hour from home. E is very particular about what he needs, there's specific books, toys and of course his pillow and Toy Story blanket. Are your kids like this too?

Where are we headed? To the windy city. And we have a big weekend planned one night camping, one night dining at a castle and a whole day with family. What more could you ask for?

So are you going anywhere this weekend? Any funtastic plans?

Since I'm in such a rush today...I'll quickly get to our sound bites of the week. Drum roll please.

3. "We'll tag team the chicken."

Here's the dealio, we are having a HUGE July 4th picnic with our residents today, even in the 114 degree weather and Lynn and I are in charge of the chicken. This is teamwork at its best people...ready set go!

2. "I'm gonna kick his ass so hard he'll be wearing it as a hat."

We heard this during Pawn Stars the other night (do you ever watch that show?) It's hilarious. After I heard this it created the oddest visual that just would't get out of my head.

And the number one sound bite is ...

1. "You have beaver fever."

Ummm. I think you mean Bieber Fever.

Well, there's the sound bites. I'm going to try to blog while in Chi-town. Try being the key word there.
