Five Minute Friday {On Saturday}: Remember

I've been meaning to link up at The Gypsy Mama's Five Minute Friday for a while, but since I do my Sound Bytes of the Week on Friday I figured I'd just do this on Saturdays, so here we go...Feel like writing, go ahead and join us.

Today's topic Remember...

I remember a time before babysitters, sippy cups, diapers, temper tantrums and all that children entail.

A time of Friday night movies, unlimited hours at the gym and time to read or knit or...well you get the point.

Sometimes I miss those days gone by, and long for them back. After four years you would think I would forget, but I remember.

I also remember how quiet our house was {and not in a good way}, and how it wasn't as full of life and love and laughter. Like it is now.

And while from time to time I may mourn those old childless days, I will always remember how full my life is today.

For fun, for love of the sound of words, for play, for delight, for joy and celebration at the art of communication.

For only five short, bold, beautiful minutes. Unscripted and unedited. We just write without worrying if it’s just right or not.
