A Bunny Good Coffee

Good Morning All!

It’s only Tuesday, and I’m in need of another weekend…I’m just sayin’. So, I’m gonna grab a highly caffeinated cup of coffee and settle in for a little coffee talk (add Brooklyn accent here) this morning.

Bear with me while I grab my soap box and rant a bit about the craziness of Easter. Ok, I’m not a religious person, and we don’t go to church, but I do know the true meaning behind Easter. So, when I stepped into Target (yep again) to get Easter basket goodies, I was surprised by the mob of people snatching up gifts and goodies like it was Christmas. I’m all for buying some peeps and chocolate eggs, but some of this was WAY over the top. So, next year we’ll keep it simple. A fun egg hunt and a chocolate bunny sounds good to me…make those kids work for their eggs (I’m such a task master).

Oh, and I didn’t get a single Easter pic, because I left my big camera at home and my cell phone was dead. So there you go…Nothing…

What were your big Easter plans? Did you eat a whole chocolate bunny? I wish I could have…oh chocolate bunny how I long for you…

If we were really having coffee today, I’d show you all the new clothes I bought on my shopping spree. Ah…mama got her shop on and she did good! I took my fellow partner in crime with me, and he wooed all the sales ladies with his cute red hair. I think I deserved it after going from this to this …

And I’d also tell you that I’m super proud of my big boy, because he hit his first pitched baseball this weekend. Finally, a sport that he likes and is good at…Hallelujah, bring on T-ball.

Well, that’s all I have over here in dreary ‘ol Iowa. Let’s stop by Amy’s and see how everyone else spent their bunny day.
